5 out of 5 stars A lifesaver!!   October 17, 2002

Only a few weeks into my International Trade & Finance module, and I already feel as though i'd be lost without this book! It deals concisely, yet thoroughly with all the necessary topics in a way which is easy to navigate and understand. Many topics covered by the text are difficult to grasp, and lectures often leave me completely clueless, but this book really is fantastic at explaining key areas, such as Trade Terms and Marine Insurance, which would otherwise leave me more than a little confused!
The book follows the same layout as others in the 'Principles of..' series and really is ideal for both reference and revision. Each chapter ends with a summary of not more than four or five pages, which reiterates key points raised in the chapter-a definate advantage when you need to do some quick last minute reading!
I'd definately recommend this book to anyone studying or thinking of studying the subject as being one of the most manageable texts in the area. It covers everything you need to know, without over- complicating already difficult issues, and stays away from that all too common textbook downfall of assuming you already have an in-depth knowledge of the subject!!
